    • Hmm…I don’t see furriness…more, a desire to seem like, or act like an animal, which doesn’t exactly define ‘furry’

    • that gives me a feeling of “Aww, that’s cute”, while furries give me a feeling of “I don’t like this, please burn it”

Very different things, even from just one example like how a person feels on these two creatures

    • i don’t see the furry either. Furry is an actual anthropomorphic character

    • Apparently it one of these moments.

The joke just probably should have been obvious here as I was posting a meme rather than a reasonable argument as this.

Well, this image you have provided is anime which just pisses me off the slightest, but I can look past that. My point is that humans should not have fox tails and ears. The only acception is if it is not a part of them physically. If it’s just clothes, maybe I can tolerate that. It ain’t a suit or anything like that to it’s fine. But on a character that is supposed to be tactical, there is a bit of a lack of harmony. Especially with previous figures. Now its fine if just one is breaking that harmony. It allows for a different and unique character. Problem is when it happens over and over over a period of time which is what I am noticing a bit of. The ears and tail on that figure have no indication whatsoever of it just being a piece of clothing. It’s pretty much like it’s a part of them which is odd. Furries are pretty much humans taking animal characteristics, or even the other way around, which a character designed like that fits into that category, unless it is showed that it is not a part of their physical self in a way though, it’s hard not to look at it as a furry. That picture has not indication that the ears and tail are seperate from the human, which leads me to seeing it as a furry. But the joke still remains.

No I did understand the joke. To befare I did lmao at the meme you posted on this but yea I still understand what the joke is.

So hang on…you are ok with the character , IF it shows that the tail and the ears are additionals (so like a cat ear headband and a clip on tail) , but your not fine with it if it is a literal part of the character. Correct?
I can understand why you would class catgirls as furries In this sence…

But here’s whats puzzling me. I’ve asked you this about scarf figures some time ago so I’m asking it now. Why do you hate furries? I myself hate furries , but that’s because I find the idea of an animal with human abilities rather stupid compared to someone who just has one or two animal features (cos , let’s face it , people -including myself- do actually wear cat ear headbands -in my case , fox ear headband- and clip on tails) but yea, why do you hate furries?

Alright. That’s good, but making a big deal in a post like this only implies to me that you didn’t get it. And yes. I am completely fine with it if it is not a thing that is a part of the actual person. To put it short, I don’t like furries because stuff like this is just insanely odd.

It makes you insanely uncomftorable when people try to normalize something like this. Especially when it is sexual. The furry fandom for this matter just straight up glorifies and normalizes beastiality. It also says that living in a fantasy world is okay. Cartoons are fine, costumes are fine. The lifestyle and idea that you are an animal is not. Fursonas are odd as well. It’s fine to have an animal character to relate to, but not to represent you. A headband with animal ears is fine. But the tail thing, I can’t see. I could get by it if it is a costume or just a whole style thing.

          • Replying to: Explosive BulletAlright. That's good, but making a big deal in a post like

I am only 15 so sorry if it sounds like I don’t understand.
I didnt realise I made such a fuss on this…

But..ok right, “normalizing” furries is the main thing that makes me uncomfortable. On the other hand , “catgirls and foxgirls” don’t. Normalising catgirls *sexually* though makes me unconformable aswell , same goes for furries…

Catgirls are my thing (not in a lewd way , ain’t one of those pornographic people) so I’m going to still say I don’t see them as furries.
I understand why YOU class them as furries.
