Im sure you’ve probably all heard about this already, but, i hate to inform you all that, following the death of “El Mencho”, a notorious Cartel leader in mexico, not only has the entirety of Mexico been suffering from Cartel attacks, but most importantly, my home state of Jalisco is suffering from a complete lockdown with extreme violence in the street, with innocent people being gunned down in the streets, and cars being burnt down to block roads.

I’ve been getting distressed calls and texts from all of my family, about how they’ve been hearing gunshots all day long, how entire communities of neighbors have been driven out of their homes and workplaces, how entire buildings have been burnt to ashes, and how some people of have been starving from a total lack of food, while hiding in their rooms while trying to defend themselves with whatever botched weaponry they have, while police and military elements battle it out on the streets.

I have a heavy knot in my stomach writing this, im normally not a religious man, but please, pray for us, and more importantly, pray for my family.
