Much like my time in bed with a woman, today’s log is gonna be nothin’ short of a quickie.
Cant really elaborate in this point any further, and i will not continue to beat a dead horse, so i’ll just junp straight to the chase:
Blah blah blah, christmas christmas, new years eve, people are busy, etc etc, it’s normal to expect a downgrade in post quantity (and quality) during these days of festivities, since most people DO actually have a loving family who want to spend time with them.
I cannot stress this enough, keep your heads up, ALL of you, we’ll get some better logs on January, i promise.
    Anyways, let’s get onto it.

Wild Wild West  is the 1999 feature film adaptation of the 1960’s Western television series that starred Robert Conrad as James West. The adaptation was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black) and stars Will Smith as James West and Kevin Kline as Artemus Gordon. In the United States in 1869; the two government agents Jim West and Artemus Gordon are fundamentally different. While ladies’ man West is usually too quick to use his weapons and fists, Gordon is often characterized by brazenness and an almost inexhaustible repertoire of bizarre inventions. Together, the unlikely duo are now tasked by US President Grant with investigating the sudden disappearance of America’s top scientists. The two are supported by a special train, its driver Coleman, and Rita Escobar, whom they pick up as a stowaway and whose father is also one of the missing.

    Featured Review:

This movie really isn’t as bad as people make it out to be
I think this movie is, beyond anything, pure entertainment. I don’t think for a moment that this is intended to be a historically-accurate archive of what happened during the life of President Truman. I think it was an idea based on something that could have happened, and then explored upon. It’s meant to be entertaining with a smidge of accuracy. If I were grading this purely on accuracy or historic factor, I’d grade it lower but I’m grading it as entertainment. Sure there are some cheesy parts, but it’s funny, it’s silly, it’s somewhat kind of historical, and that’s good enough for me. It’s entertaining.”

    🍅 What To Know:

“Bombastic, manic, and largely laugh-free, Wild Wild West is a bizarre misfire in which greater care was lavished upon the special effects than on the script.”

    🏜 Outlaw’s Opinion 🏜

“Nobody can deny the fact that this movie isnt the greatest feature of the 20th century, far from it, however, it has a great sense of fun, adventure, and genuienly funny moments that you can’t help but chuckle at, it’s overall a really funny and goofy film that doesn’t take itself fully seriously, but always tries it’s best to keep you entretained.”

    • Only 4 linked posts? Hmm..

Nah, it’s been kinda quiet lately, plus you included lots of images from the day, which is perfectly fine if the posts from the day are minimal text with mainly an image or two.

In any case I want to lock it in that we can’t just do like 3 – 5 linked posts and that’s it, in today’s case I think it’s fine.

      Nice entry, as usual.

    December 28th, 1897
Father William Corby, former chaplain of the 88th New York Infantry who granted absolution to the Irish Brigade at Gettysburg, died of pneumonia in South Bend, Indiana. He was 64 years old.

“His casket was borne to the grave, not by his fellow Holy Cross priests as was the custom, but by aging Civil War veterans. His coffin was draped in the flag of his old regiment and a rifle volley was fired as his coffin was lowered into the grave. Accompanied by the sound of a bugle, old Grand Army of the Republic veterans sang a song over their heroic chaplain’s grave: Answering the call of roll on high. Dropping from the ranks as they make reply. Filling up the army of the by and by.” – “History of Watertown, Wisconsin”.

  • Replying to comment by: The CreatureBro this ain’t the time for jokes about you hating someone f

I hate it not because of what it does, but for what it did.
It used to be great, it used to be fun, the meaning of the internet itself plastered onto a screen for all the world to see, characters of different ip\’s merging together in a tremendous feat of the parody law.
But it changed, changed into nothing but a clusterfuck of OC\’s each one more forgettable than the last, with dull jokes that nobody would laugh at.
I started watching SMG4 long before you were even born, bow down when an elder speaks.
