well, you have to mention him if you found a stolen fig. You have to give him the stolen one and the original one

just do it once
1) find a stolen fig / one not giving credit if its based on another fig
2) tattle on them
3) ???
4) profit
5) kick whoevers ass that made step 3.
6) dab on them
