So about the movieclip submissions. I have a worry. So say someone submits a movieclip of, lets say, someone submits a movieclip of EB running. Then someone else makes one also but they look the same so the other one get reported.Or what if someone takes a movieclip and tweaks it and claim it as their own n such?
There is more worries so I had a thought…
How about we can only submit movieclip where the main focus is a figure made from ourselfs.
Like only EB can animate his OC and submit it cause its his figure.
And I can animate my OC shooting a gun cause my OC is well, mine. I made it.
Now say I used my OC but someone elses gun? Well thats fine cause the MAIN FOCUS is my OC.

Well, I wanted the movieclips to be like effects, bullet casing movieclips, useful things.
I feel like movie clip submissions would mainly be for effects or transition figures. Maybe the occasional stickfigure walk aimn
Cause like, if your a decent enough animator you can animate a guy shooting a gun or a walk cycle so
Iike
Idk that’s Just my thoughts,
Thanks for coming to my TED talk
This is why you are called thoughts-of-everything.
Yes exactly.
There is always something going through my mind.
eyyyy
yes, this is a valid concern, and I’ve thought of it before
there’s a few things on my mind about MC submissions, quick summary:
1) as you mention, basically animating someone elses OC, or taking someone elses fire pack and simply making it into an MC – don’t think this should be allowed
2) as a result, MCs should really be “new” and “generic” things (not an OC walking, but maybe just random bystanders walking about, for a city sidewalk or something)
3) there will be different purposes to submitting an MC – an animateable effect -OR- a way to submit a “pack” of your figure, but all joined together already (no assembly required once you import the MC and “Break Apart” it)
4) for the animateable effect MCs – what about tweening? MCs can look “wrong” if not animated properly anticipating the end user will use tweening – should this be a priority issue, aka deny any submission if not tween friendly?
4a) what about thumbnails – honestly I can’t be tasked with thumbnailing *more* stuff as ngl my workload for approving stickfigures is quite high, so MC submissions will somehow have to be accompanied by a PROPERLY made animated thumbnail and, no offense to users, but the “average user” as a hard time following guidelines
…
that’s kinda my thoughts on it right now
lots of questions, no answers
make a tab for non tween freindly ones and tween freindlyones
