Hello fellow users, I have a set of questions for you to all answer if you are willing to. The reason why I ask these questions is so that I can find out just how much we all use stick nodes, whether we animate to the level we want to be animating at and other questions relating to the topic of Animating in Stick Nodes.
Okay than here we go:
Question 1:
How often do you use Stick Nodes and actually animate? (Per month, don’t write per week otherwise the questions are unfair across all of you).Question 2:
Would you be willing to partake in some sort of group where you and other animators will work on the same project separately (Same project/task but you work on yours and they work on theirs) to hopefully benefit your animation skill?Question 3:
What do you do more, animate or create stickfigures?Question 4:
On a scale of 1 to 10 what would you say your animating skill is on? (Be honest please)Question 5:
Do you often feel de-inspired to create your ideas or do you just not have any ideas for projects often at all?Question 6:
How long would you be willing to take for animating small scale projects like walk cycles, jumping, swimming etc?Question 7:
Do you expect higher for Stick Nodes? Do you feel as if the full potential isn’t always reached or are you happy with what you and other animators such as yourself create?Final Question:
Can you give good criticism to other animators who will work along side you?Now your probably thinking, well um, what is this all for exactly? Well this is all to see whether I should create some sort of group for animators to redeem their skill or to further develop it, this will be a collective process I will be working along side you to create the same projects but in our own style. This is currently just an idea, nothing will be certain until the full results are in for what you all have to say about this.

Not bad, not bad at all
Although why is one rock blurred and the rest of the rocks not. Also try only using the vertical blur instead of horizontal and vertical.

Sounds great although I was talking about Stick Nodes in general not this group specifically.

I don’t like the idea of having to use a slide wheel to select tools, just sounds awkward trying to navigate around.

Export GIF
May take a while though depending on filters, frame delay, backgrounds etc.

I ask the same question every time I come here

Okay well that’s your problem not anyone else’s so please try to complain somewhere other than this site, nobody wants to hear it. Plus the excessive amount of ‘swearing’ doesn’t make you any funnier, just saying my guy.

Ok.
I animate occasionally
I will be down to participate in a joint of some sort
I animate and create figures lol.i animate more tho.
7.9 im not bad ppl love my animation style but i want more im feel like i can do
more
I have HELL OF IDEAS for projects my mind is always at it.
Im literally always free. Im gotta Hell of time on my hands
Yes, i feel like if i practice i can achieve even higher status in my animations.
I know the basics of animation so im pretty good at spoting mistakes
Thank you for your answers
1) Frequently used, but I didn’t use it if I don’t have something to post on YT.
2) Nah, I’m an lone animator. Even my country will never work with me.
3) Create stickfigs. I need to make some figs so I can expand my skills.
4) Well, 6, I guess since I started animation since January-February 2019.
5) I have a lot but I’m too lazy to do it. My phone didn’t have much storage, less that 1 gb.
6) At least 15 minutes, if I do it seriously.
7) I have Pivot, Blender, MineImator and StickNodes. Well, I trusted StickNodes more. I can’t do anything in Blender. Pivot is how I can get to animating with no tween. I transferred the skill to Stick Nodes.
8) Well, I haven’t work with anyone actually.
Thanks for your answers
1) I usually animate once or twice a month
2) Depending on the context, I’d be down for it
3) I create figures more (usually just car stuff) than animations
4) Probably 6/10
5) I have some ideas in mind that I really want to make but often I don’t have enough motivation to do so
6) I mostly just do small scale projects that usually takes like a day or two to complete just because I don’t have much spare time usually, though counting just the work hours itself will probably be about 12 hours
7) SN is all that I need. If I am really serious, I will move into more advanced programs though I don’t see the need for it yet.
8) I can’t completely guarantee that my criticisms will be constructive but I will state my opinions otherwise
Thank you for your answers
Also may I point out how many people are actually going to misinterpret that 7th question, i’m not saying which animation softwares you use or will use i’m asking do you think Stick Nodes animations are the best they can be and do you think we should set the bar higher for animations.
Oh right, well I think there’s plenty of great animations out there and the only that we can do is improve
1. Varies, but I often try to stay in good shape and occasionally experiment with new stuff. But it all depends on schedule.
2. Too busy nowadays :c
3. Both? I mean… Recently I animate more since I had create most rigs I needed.
4. It stops at 10?- jk but I’d do 9.5, not fully 10 because I am holding back to go full on cause I don’t have enough time to do bigger projects.
5. Obviously
6. I mainly do small projects to practice and stay in shape, don’t have time for big stuff yet.
7. Yep. I even made group called Node Breakers to have people try to push their limits.
8. In the past I had time to help others improve, give criticism and teach. But nowadays kinda hard to manage. Still try to throw in anything to help though.
Thanks for the answers
