This is an amazing testimony! Praise God for getting her out of prostitution and New Age!
Mike’s entire video is great, but I specifically needed to hear his answers to questions 3, 9, and 10. I’ve been INCREDIBLY sarcastic and trying to be funny in inappropriate ways since I was very young because my parents do the same thing. As I grow in my faith, I’m realizing that I need to let that go. Also, I’m feeling 9 and 10 apply to my current workplace and schedule.
This entire video has some great advice.
This is 100% right. I know this will likely turn off nonbelievers, but I see information pertaining to Christianity in a timeline, some info is geared towards people at the beginning of the timeline (nonbelievers/lukewarm Christians), other info is geared towards people at the end of the timeline (theologians/preachers/etc.), and most info is geared towards people who are anywhere in between.
This is EXCELLENT evidence for the biblical flood happening!
I obviously want this to be true and I do think it is true, but I unfortunately can’t find any solid biblical evidence that God delights in us being distracted in prayer. It certainly makes sense, but, I suppose, it would also make sense for God to be frustrated with us that while we talk to Him, we’re distracted with all of our problems and He can’t get a word in edgewise to tell us what to do or rebuke us or whatever. I always err on the side of caution and pray that God forgives me for being distracted, but I still agree with this guy in saying that God is okay with it.
This guy is 100% right. Even the worst of the worst sin, as long as the sinner is WILLING to LET GO of said sin, can be overcome and can be forgiven. And to anyone who struggles with, not just child porn, but any sin, if you are truly repentant and trying to quit you will prevail. As someone who has struggled with regular porn addiction let me tell you, the best way to fight the devil in this area is to have the GOAL of quitting cold turkey. Will you mess up and go back into it? Yes, but when your goal is set on quitting cold turkey, you beat yourself up more when you mess up. The more beat up you are about sinning, the less likely it is that you will do it again. What do I mean by cold turkey? Take my porn addiction for example. I not only cut porn out of my life, but also started looking at the ceiling in the grocery store so that I wouldn’t look at CLOTHED attractive women, I stopped playing video games with scantily clad women in them (some of them were EXPENSIVE games, and I still sacrificed them), I stopped watching videos and movies with women who wear skin tight clothes and bikinis, and if I DID happen to see this stuff, I PHYSICALLY put my hand over my eyes to establish a pattern in my brain that this is not okay for me to look at. There were also some PEOPLE who I had to stop talking to for a time until I learned how to properly deal with this and then I could go back to talking to them. Maybe if you are struggling with child porn addiction, do similar things. When you’re out in public, don’t look at people, look at the ceiling. Any type of media that has children in it, abstain from it. Any younger people or people who have children who you are in communication with, cut your communication with them, at LEAST for this season of your life. And maybe, find someone who you trust to keep checking up on you/monitor your internet access.
This video compliments the one above and explains that, while these sins can and, by God at least, will be forgiven if you truly repent, these are the types of people that you can’t give an inch of wiggle room because they’ll take it and run with it. This is also why, above, I said cold turkey and kind of being over-strict with what you need to stop is the best way to get out of your addiction.

something tells me this wasn’t made in stick nodes
it’s the new update
It could be… if someone wants to make an animation of any of the Bible chapters or linked videos I post. Lol
