So I gave Spookus and Scray a reason for why their faces are always hidden by shadows under a hood/hat.
They are undead, and if their skin stays in the sunlight for more than 10 minutes they’ll suddenly burst into flames and die. As for the intense shadows, this is a result of the magical enhancements on their headwear.
Are these good explainations or should I give them more detail.
