“This is reality, not DC. It isn’t like 9/10 people have dead parents in this world.” Ghast says, dissing DC.

(Eh, it ain’t that weird.)
“It sort of just… Happened. One day, 14-year-old me decided to go searching inside of an abandoned house that was thought to be haunted. As I entered, the floor colapsed and below was a portal to the Realm of Shadows. As I descended, my flesh and bone was stripped away until all that was left was my spirit, and then I was enveloped in darkness. After that, I woke up in another part of the house, not knowing what happened. As I stood up, I found that my body had been transformed into what you see now, and yeah. Basically, that’s it.”

“Um, yeah. Why?”

“Well, that happened. So, now what?”

“Fine, take it. But, since you’re starting to ruin my night…” Ghast pulls out the sword, but sends all of his current energy into a his arm and chucks the sword about 40 miles away, north. “Fetch.”

“Like Inara and I are scared.” Ghast scoffs.

“I have a better idea. How about you go f*ck yourself?” Ghast retorts

“The hell-” he murmurs

*The hell-*

“Um… Yes?”

“Uh, could you describe what it looks like?”

“Um, who are you?” Ghast asks.

*Oh boy. Hopefully this one isn’t as awkward or crazy.* he thinks

Ghast transforms back to normal and the light thing weres off. “Well, that was a thing. Good swing there, Inara!”

“Just do it, Inara.” he’d be smiling if he had a mouth.
