I can actually tell it is infact literally feces. But don’t worry! It’ll be replaced with a better design of Cookie’s.

You done? Also make it a little bit more scimitar like.

So it is, bet it’s also made of cheap stainless steel. I can assure you i know my s**t when it comes to melee weapons and i can telly you now this is bad design, there’s a reason this style of stuff is never archeologically found

I still dont understand why there are spikes on the cutting part of the blade, mostly put those things on the blunt side of the blade to add more of a defence mechanism
-
Replying to:
Oh diddly darn o forgot to type the letter i before mostly
-
Replying to:
i’d only have one, i’d have it go out a little before facing straight up, allowing you to catch, disarm and even warp a blade

-
Replying to:
HEY EPITAPH WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE KARAMBIT? I think it’s one of the best knives for stabbing….
Not that’d I’d know anyway…
-
Replying to:
it’s my least favorite modern blade. the small size, oversized ring and the miniture curved blade makes it pale in comparison to something like a classic Tactical Knife. it’s bad at stabbing and it’s bad at cutting, just stick to your Ancient Weapon designs like the Roundel and Cinnequeda for good Knife design
-
Replying to:
i Don’t think you have ever seen a karambit if you think its bad at cutting, it can go from in your belt to through someones abs in a split second.
-
Replying to:
But it requires certain direction to deal that sort of damage. A Roundel on the other hand can go through frewking Plate Armour and right into your lung
-
Replying to:
Nah man you can get double edged Karambits so you can do it both ways also it can apply pressure to get people in wrist/ arm locks and control fights that way
-
Replying to:
Or you could just use a Bayonet, witch is way easier
-
Replying to:
*which
-
Replying to:
bayonets are big so you lose mobility and there easier to see so could easily be dodged
-
Replying to:
That’s why we put shrubbery over ourselves to blend in before lunging rather than sitting round a corner like it’s CS:GO
-
Replying to:
but in hand to hand where we have both seen each other 1 karambit slice would of taken you out before you could touch me
-
Replying to:
You seem to be oblivious that the Karambit is a hideous main weapon, i mean HIDEOUS. All it takes is fro someone to have a shield and your immediately f**ked, hell, they’d probably beat you to death WITH the shield.
All weapons are specialised but Karambits are not broad enough in their uses. Their short blade only gives you the chance to injure but only rarely kill while it’s small size makes it handy but in the end inferior to anything longer.
A Broadsword, just your classic sword is infinitely better as it has everything on it’s side. Size, mobility, convenience, lethality.
-

Replying to:
And the ring can be used to trap someones finger in hand to hand and if you snap hard enough can break peoples fingers
-
Replying to:
While your trying to snap my fingers, i could have a metal rod buried into your skull thanks to the Roundel’s hammer pommel
-
Replying to:
ye but while you’re drawing that i could of cut your abs open and got you in a arm lock due to my blade having better mobility and precision
-
Replying to:
What if i told you that the Karambit is only fast because it’s miniscule, making it very easy to control. Just grab your arm and boom, out of use.
A guy swinging around something like a Cinnequeda i harder to control as the blade is longer, forcing you to distance yourself or get thrusted.
However, in 1 v 1 melee combat, i would always bring a Rapier. A swept hilt to guard the hand, long blade for awesome distance and completely designed to stab with utmost efficiency.
-
Replying to:
What the heck…The is burst into a Karambit conversation.
-
Replying to:
but if you swing once and miss you have to get ready for the next strike your blade is only as good as the amount of force put behind it i however could run in after a missed strike and get you in a arm lock with you blade hand as the karambit can act like a handcuff so applying pressure would allow me to control the fight
-
Replying to:
You clearly don’t understand that Rapiers are designed to be the ultimate dueling weapon. With the correct stance, hand movement and posture, nothing can get by you with a Rapier. If you were to beat a Rapiersmen with a Karambit, you are either against someone extremely incompetent or have an incredible amount of luck on your side.
But yeah, if you’re even considering it as an RHG weapon, you might as well run around with a f**king fork
-
Replying to:
Actually, Epitaph is completly correct. The rapier is lean, fast and well balanced. Agianst a karambit, the rapier completely dominates.
-
Replying to:
ONCE AGAIN, it relies too heavily on the user! Sure if they were floating-objects than yes the rapier would win, but when you’re talking about armor and shields, than I have the right to bring up stuff like Special Operatives, Martial Arts training, you know; ????? ???? ??????? ???’? ????
-
Replying to:
Yeah, infact lets stop this…how did karambit V rapier come about from a friend trying to make a weapon for me.
-
-
-
Replying to:
but karambits are one of the most effective back up weapons as it can control fights and there is such quick access.
-
Replying to:
How about blocking rapier stabs?
-
Replying to:
its not going to block a rapier but if he misses he has to readjust i can run in get him in a arm lock and then control the fight
-
Replying to:
Well anyway, either the man has the power of anime on his side or he is completely unorthidox in fighting.
-
-
Replying to:
You’d need either a good shield or some plate armour. The way Rapier duels usually worked would usually be one guy lunges, other guy glies his blade down the other guy’s, knocking it out of the way while allowing his to decend right into the target.
Meanwhile, the Karambit, as it is an aggressive weapon, goes in for a strike and gets skewered through the eye
-
Replying to:
I’ve seen rapier fights.
Seriously, DO NOT mess with trained rapiermen.
-
Replying to:
Professional Rapier fights are genuinely frightening cause they’re just so damn brutal. In like 2 moves they’ve already stabbed the opponent
-
-
Replying to:
And it bears repeating, a fight between weapons (Especially melee weapons) LARGELY depends on the wielder! Whilst sure, a rapier is objectively better than a Karambit in a fight, if the Karambit user is more talented, skilled, etc than he’s gonna win!
-
Replying to:
Its settled then.
-
-
-
-
Replying to:
Refecc, they’re pnly a good backup because you’re up against f**king guns, against full on ancient swords like Rapiers and Longswords, you’re completely outmatched
-

Epi, let him keep his beliefs. Just wait until he gets into an animation and everything just go wrong.
-
Replying to:
Yup
-
Replying to:
Thanks, you just made everything better for my notifications, because it just blew up like crazy when I got back on this tablet.
-
Replying to:
But no really, the difference between what Refecc was doing and what you were doing, is that you were very inconsistent on what is what. You go from knives to swords to shields which really defeats the purpose. In a fight of course a sword is gonna beat a knife same goes for almost every knife, and of course a shield is gonna block a knife. But that’s not the point. The point is to see where it stands between other knives of which you argued very little of.

-

and i never said i’m awesome nor did i say i could do that but a professional could easily do it
-
Replying to:
You said Goyardi Boy got a quick W
-
Replying to:
Which you kinda did because I fell for your trap.
-
-
Replying to:
This subject has gotten wildly off topic. Listen Listen Listen. IF we were to make our wielders based off who most often uses said weapon (AKA, Proffessional Fencers & Special Military Operatives) than yes, karambit wins. Because being in the military, and being good enough to be special ops is an entirely different and more knowledgable skill set than being a fencer. Yes, a trained Militant would be able to close the gap between a fencer and grab his arm, because if there’s one thing the rapier isn’t very good at, it’s close range (Because of it sucking at slashing and is more of a poke and stab weapon) so YES once again the Karambit would win!

ONCE AGAIN, Of course you’re gonna lose with a knife in a sword fight. That’s like bringing a sword to a gunfight.
-
Replying to:
True, true.
-
-
-
-
-
-
Replying to:
But Epitaph….. If the guy is using a Karambit, the guy probably has a gun. Also If the guy is using a Karambit you’d probably NOT be dressed in medievil armor. We can’t make a battle between weapons when the weapons effectiveness relies on armor! To concoct a “Which Weapon would win” we need to establish the duelers so we get a solid idea of what the fight would be like, instead of shields and armor and an overall inconsistent counters.
-
Replying to:
He said he’s using a Karambit, he’d have to tell me if guns come into the equation
-
Replying to:
I mean, We’re talking about a Military specialist using a karambit and some kind of knight using bayonets/traditional knives. And both have expenantially different skill sets! I mean, if it was a military operative, he’d exploit the many, MANY weaknesses of old armor, and assuming he is pretty light on armor, he’d run circles around the knight. We need to establish 1 skill set between the 2, 1 type of armour between the 2, and 1 Type of weapon between the two so you stop pulling different weapons out your arse.
-
Replying to:
1) it’s not as simple as ‘insert Plate Armour’. You have Gambeson, then Mail and THEN Plate. It’s 3 layers designed for repelling f**king greatswords. A traditional knife known as the Roundel was a Knight’s only real can opener as you could call it, a long cone shaped dagger for piercing the many layers of a knight’s armour
-
Replying to:
If the knight is using armor that was made to block great swords, it’s safe to say he isn’t that fast, and that’s 1 thing you’re forgetting: Speed. Assuming the operative has his vest off (Which he definitely would) and seeing the requirements to get in the military not even mentioning the requirements to get in a Special Operation, the militant would run circles around the knight. The knight just doesn’t have the speed nor the knowledge to hit the militant. Maybe the karambit couldn’t pierce the armor, but he ain’t getting hit that’s for sure.
-
Replying to:
Knight’s aren’t twits in tin cans, they’re the most elite soldiers of their time, trained since their early years to fight in the heaviest armours. It’s heavy, yes, but not as slow as you think, remember, they’re trained to do this for years, they would be able to keep up.
Besides, the Special Forces’ speed will go for nothing when he can’t even hit the Knight’s weakpoints thanks to the Gambeson and Mail. The knight on the other hand is very capable of an attack because modern day soldiers don’t armour themselves up as much as they used to, making them VERY exposed
-
-
Replying to:
Jfc every piece of armor has a gap between plates, all it takes is grab the handle with your left hand and the right on the blade, then aim for the gap between the shoulders, then, BOOM you got yourself an injuried f *cko’
-
Replying to:
Except no because you don’t just wear everyday clothes with Plate Armour on the top. You first have a Gambeson coat, then Chainmail and then finnaly the Plate Armour. Going for somewhere like an armpit avoids the plate, yes, but you’ll never cut through mail AND gambeson with a knife
-
Replying to:
I thought we were talking about swords
-
Replying to:
well the same applies to a sword. you’re better off using a Greatsword like a Zweihander or Claymore as they are very, VERY hard hitters and just crumple plate armour
-
Replying to:
But it doesnt just rely on swords, most fights rely on the users body weight, of your thin, then you would n use a claymore since hitting too hard will cause your wrist to bend or even break,if youre obese then a rapier would just tire you out
-
Replying to:
Diddly darn i meant wouldnt
-
Replying to:
Rapiers weigh almost exactly the small weight as a Broadsword, it’s just distributed differently. an obese man is actually better off with heavy weapons as they can put all their weight into one incredibly powerful downwards cut.
for a dainty ladyboy like me though, quicker weapons that utilise your agility better like a Rapier or a short polearm like a Glaive or Poleaxe
-
Replying to:
Dear me, how’d a conversation with a friend turn into this monstrosity.
-
Replying to:
Someone questioned my knowledge of weaponry
-
-
Replying to:
Exactly my point though
-
Replying to:
However, it does not mean a dainty little boy like me can’t use something like a Maul, it just means I’m better off with a Glaive, but i can still use a Maul effectively.
