With that out of the way, here are some of the ways you could improve this,

Remove the bottom mace as it would strike the user.

Thicken the handle slightly to give the mace more of a base to be attached to.

Add something for the spikes to jut out of, be it a circle, a Pentagon or even a triangle, just give them a firm base.

Perhaps have the colours be gradients coming from grey spikes.
