I’ve known these kids since 4th grade. To be honest it’s always been a toxic relationship. All of them have been varying degrees of assholes but it’s genuinely hard to tell whether or not they’re my friends. They have worried about me before and stuck up for me, vise versa. They’re not even all assholes most of the time. It’s only when a certain friend of mine shows up that they all follow in his footsteps and decide to treat me like shit.
I need to cool down and think about this more. Everything today has been a fucking headache and a half. I’ll cut ties with them if they ever pull this stupid shit again.

I fucking love trying to find some time to spend with friends, one who is actually moving soon, to hang out and catch up, only for them to treat me like scum and eventually ditch me all together. I don’t even know if I have irl friends at this point, I feel like they’re using me as a punching bag. It’s like they invited me out only for the sake of pissing me off. Fuck this.

Hmm, it can be hard to find the right friends irl.
I spent most of my life moving places, schools etc and had to find friends repeatedly just as I got settled. Eventually when I was nearing leaving secondary school, I gave up and spent time alone to work on things.
Don’t let this discourage you but instead, just try and keep your head up, assess the situation from a different perspective, judge it based on how they are as people, whether it’s truly just a joke or a written off fake joke and finally see if they actually care about you.
If they barely fit the bill than maybe look for new ones, which is easier said than done but still, that’s your only option basically.

That would be logical yes.
Trying to look cool around a specific person is seen often, more so in schools and at a younger age than older. It can be quite unfortunate to try and shake your friends from this facade, it usually doesn’t work unless they see how it affects them negatively.
