In this part of the series, Lucky starts using technology to his advantage, so does most of his friends. The D.T.S had engineers design a grapple hook that is specifically attuned to Lucky’s essence powers.
An essence crystal of a dead green essence user is attached at the very end of the hook, which allows Lucky to imbue it with his essence, which can be used to grow tree roots into whatever wall/surface he shoots it at, making a very sturdy grapple hook.

Would you consider “slightly” human as a different species of human? All of the species in my series are made from mostly elements like earth, fire, or light, aswell as a bit human dna. Not to write a paragraph or anything, but my oc is a Valkyrie in my series, which is a species made of light given physical form from human dna.
