Bought Synapse for the PSVR 2

And it is an extremely game. The premise of the game is that you have to go into a terroist’s mind and get past levels of enemies to get to the subconscious for information on a bio weapon he plans on using. You have 3 different guns at your disposal, along with telekinesis (both of which are upgradable). You have to get past 6 – 7 levels to get to the subconscious in order to beat the game (though I think you ah e to replay it for the true ending)

Unless you choose hand aiming like a goddamn psychopath, you select what you want to use your telekinesis on with eye tracking (you can move mind blocks, explosive barrels, enemies, and grenades). It’s extremely responsive and makes the whole telekinesis system em seamless as you don’t even have to sim at all (besides looking at the object) to use telekinesis. The telekinesis system also works very well.

You start with the pistol but can unlock the other two weapons via upgrades. You get upgrades by completing game achievements, and those upgrades and be spent to purchase skills, health upgrades, weapons, and more. There are also points called “defiance” which you collect by killing enemies and walking near where they died (there should be a pile of it on the floor). These are spent at basically in game vending machines (an in level upgrade shop, basically) for modifiers and health items purely for that round. There are also healing fountains (not what they’re called but I forgot what they were called, might be healing vats, idk) and gun/telekinesis upgrades (you also switch your guns at that place) around the map. At the end of each level you obtain a power up which can be used for the next round for free. (There’s a chance they stay with you for all the rounds after until you die, I forgot which happens).

When you die I think the run starts over though, frustrating but the game would be very short if it didn’t happen. Also, the game utilities the Sense controller’s adaptive triggers very well, too explode exploding barrels with telekinesis, you lift it up by holding the trigger down a bit till you feel resistance, and than pushing it down further to blow it up. Works very well and I very rarely accidentally blow up a barrel. The gun’s also use the adaptive triggers to simulate a trigger. The game also uses the eye tracking for the upgrade menu and upgrade point collection menu.

    Very fun game so far
