this puzzle is called the tower of hanoi puzzle (or simply pyramid puzzle) and you have to get the pyramid from one peg to another, but you can only move one disk at a time and a bigger disk cannot be placed on a smaller disk
a religion says that when this puzzle is solved, the world will end. this 64-disk puzzle would take 585 billion years to solve if you moved one disk at a time
imagine if someone decided to do epic prank and rotate the thing so it looks the pyramid is on a new peg
people would go nuts
nvm it only has 32 disks and they’re made of wood
it’s meant to be 64 disks of solid gold

this 64-disk puzzle would take 585 billion years to solve if you moved one disk at a time
having small brain moment
first of all, i can’t even fathom a way to move more than 2 discs off the pyramid because then you’d end up having to put a bigger one on top
secondly even if you could, how do they come up with 585 billion years
They gave you 3 pegs to put things on. This just made everything actually possible.
Put the smallest disc on a peg. Put the second smallest on the other peg. Now you can move the smallest disc on the other peg WITH the second smallest. You can now move a bigger disc on the peg with no other disc. Then you put the smallest disk back onto the peg it started on (the one with a lot of discs on it). Move the second smallest disc onto the third smallest disc. Then pick your smallest disk back up and onto the second smallest disc. Take the fourth smallest disc and put it onto the empty peg. From here, you can take the smallest disk and put it onto the fourth smallest disk. Then you can put the second smallest disk onto the one with many discs on it. After that, put the smallest disk onto the second smallest disk. Put the third smallest disk onto the fourth smallest disk. Move the smallest disk to the empty peg. Put the second smallest disk onto the third smallest disk. Then put the smallest disk onto the second smallest disk.
I’m done melting your brain now.
😐😯😦🤯
Also by the way I just got you 6.6667% to ending the world
Neat
Thanks
