it doesn’t matter. you don’t cherry pick what you agree with, if you follow a religion, you follow it all whether you like it or not. when Dinosaurs were recently confirmed to have a lot more feathers than we thought, i accepted it. i thought non feathered dinosaurs were cooler but i can’t decide history and thus have accepted it.
if you are cherry picking what the bible says, you are proving it is false, no objections.

well mouser i hate to break it to you but i have a feeling that is an catholic bible or some other sort of bible…heres why
first of all there is no book of the bible that starts with an “V” in it and i have proof since i know epitaph will come knocking to be an ignorant jerk and say “well how do you know that one is false?” heres my answer to to that..
the bible i and my church use is KJV (king james bible) it is widely accepted as the best translated, most correct bible..
the books contained in the Christian bible whether you be Baptist, Methodist, orthodox, etc. will always or should be always the same…
why? well because the books in the old testament and the new testament were written by God’s chosen scholars, wise men, or sometimes ordinary people that became something more special because of Jesus (the twelve disciples) and there is PROOF of this…that the books were all written by either the disciples or one of the judges like Elijah so on so forth!
so if an book in your bible is something with an “V” then i believe that bible must be false because God clearly warns us about false scripture that men will write!
and even if this book existed then i believe you are taking it WAY out of context..i have been brought many verses like this by atheists to try and prove to me that the bible’s teachings are false to what i believe in..and everytime they never read the verses before the one you pointed out….those few verses could explain the context OR it could be the old English style throwing you off…after all KJV sometimes can be taken out of context if you don’t know what your reading

Males are to marry females and females marry males…that’s how we were designed not the other way around! And while it may seem right to be gay it isn’t how God designed us
