I came up with something Imagine Halo order 66 basically all UNSC hunting down jedi To Jedi that sounds fucking scary Because a fucking lightsaber won’t do anything to anyone with a personal shield So yeah Jedis would be fucked by the entire UNSC because you have ODST, Spartans, Marines, Airforce, Oni, And, Navy. Reason order 66 worked so well was due to the surprise nature of the attack , while overwhelming force was still a big reason for it’s success , it again only came down so well due to the betrayal nature of it
By the time 66 took place , most jedi trained again blasters instead of saber to saber combat due to the time of “peace” due to the so-called extinction of the Sith for an entire millennium , the only threat they faced were good ol’ blasters
While the fight against the separatist was a devastating one even against the Jedi , they alongside clones still held their own very well , with clones having 20-50 droid heads under their belts , each
While materials such as cortorsis ore , or weapons such as the Amphistaffs are greatly effective at combating the Jedi , the Unsc to my knowledge doesn’t have thing that could work against force abilities to begin with , even padawans have shown great enough skill to display the typical telekinesis or mind tricks , taking on the Jedi head on without a sudden jump on every one of them is a death sentence
Many have also faced down with extremely skilled bounty hunters , troopers , and even other force users (namely the typical stars of the franchise such as Obi Wan or Kit Fisto)
None of them are also not lacking when it comes to just pure skill ,
While the prequels especially didn’t do a great job at showing the highest level Jedi’s (looking at you , Palpatine) within other media they’re insurmountable obstacles to even glance over
Legends lore especially is actually retarded with how much of a beef cake any one in the Jedi Order can be
One final message is on how the Jedi are all simply just generals of the Grand Republic
Pitting them alone against an entire faction is unfair on its own (even despite the Jedi’s overall strengths over even Spartans alike) , so bringing in all the clones and planets within the GR…. is one can of worms to begin with
Then comes the notion of Palpatine and his involvement. Being that he’s playing on both the GR’s and Separatist’s sides , in order to eventually overthrow and bring extinction to the Jedi in order to rule the galaxy , I doubt he’d let the UNSC strut in without putting his chess game aside for a second and then by directing the Separatist against the UNSC as well-
If we’re at the very least basing this version of the Grand Republic and Sepratist to the one at the beginning of Episode 3 , you’d have to deal with a downright silly amount of shit
Yeah honestly true everything happened so fast I don’t think most Jedi reacted quick enough, And honestly felt shocked since their troopers who were like family to them got betrayed and shot. And Jedi were so used to just fighting Marching waves of Droids they weren’t used to be attacked from every side. The clones attack was very simple and easy to pull off. 4-7 troopers surround the Jedi and start moving up and blast then They move into the Jedi slash at a trooper and then fire effective fire against the Jedi. So if you weren’t master yoda of A fleer you were pretty much dead.
That and the huge amount of disconnection between all jedi by this point , scattered across the whole galaxy is not even fair to compare to if they truly faced on any army
Sidious’ plan well due to the circumstances he cleverly set up and the deep amount of trust everyone had with each other by this point . It wasn’t even a typical betrayal they would be able to sense , the clones acted against their wills on a dime
The only comparable scenario you’d have here is if every Unsc , boots on the ground troop) suddenly teleported around every single Jedi at once
Yeah Sidious planned this when he become a apprentice his plan was set in motion the second he got the emergency power. And Also am saying if the UNSC was like Star Wars and the Jedis were generals. but yeah the Jedi were so out of tune with the force because all they had been doing was fighting and fighting people with blaster that they didn’t need the force anymore to do anything at all. They only used it to tell them where to put their sabers.

I don’t know I feel like a single jedi with good force connection could easily solo multiple Spartans at once. And we’ve seen energy swords pierce Spartans so not much they’d do against a lightsaber. As long as the jedi keeps his distance and uses the force he could just make their armor their coffin
