In the early 70’s, a Japanese former biology professor named “Goro Maki” began researching creatures living on the seafloor near the Tokyo Bay. One day he discovered a strange lifeform feeding on nuclear waste that had been dumped in the 60’s. He began experimenting on the creature by giving it certain chemicals and feeding it more nuclear waste to see what mutations it would grow. But one day something had went horribly wrong, Maki was experimenting on the creature when it suddenly fought back and killed Maki. It then ate the corpse, and began to grow exponentially and swim towards Yokosuka, this was the beginning of the apocalypse.
