Since it’s a sequel to Catastrophic Warfare, if some of you don’t know, Radon and Emma in Catastrophic Warfare is in Echo, Both of their tails got cut off in the “final battle” of CW, and they also got blasted by a blue shockwave that stops them from aging, Hence why they’re still young in 2068
And their dyed hair wore off because well, hair dyes, haircuts, and wounds get affected by time, but not their personal body characteristicsRadon got tired from his nickname and decided to switch back to Charlie

you should recap that little story at the beginning of episode 1, just quick images/slides with text but not too much (make it quick) to overwhelm or bore the viewer
in fact it shouldn’t even be scene 1 more like scene 2, after the opening action or w/e scene to catch the viewers attention and keep them watching

Honestly, i kinda like that idea
But the series isn’t focused on the two characters (Charlie, Emma) but i guess i add some references additional detail to both of them or something
