Purely from a legal standpoint it’s not a good idea. I cannot vouch for your safety, its similar to your parents talking to a crossing guard but then you get ran smooth the shit over by a UPS truck the next day. It’s completely possible – albeit unlikely.

What exactly specifically are they worried about? SN/SN.com or the internet in general? What if you give them a link/video to a parental system they can install that tracks you and reports activity to the parents? It sucks and is for karens and soccer moms that think the boogeyman is around every corner and have no sense of privacy respect but, with all due respect, that sounds like your parents.

Would that ease their mind? Of course you’d have to find such software and a decent tl;dr video explaining it so your parents will feel safe using it. This is just one idea though.

The alternative is to just “be a kid” so to speak and ̶s̶n̶e̶a̶k̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶a̶f̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶d̶a̶r̶k̶ do it behind their back. It’s easy enough by simply just clearing your browser history when you’re done. Really no way to know what you’ve been doing unless it’s a very technical person snooping through your stuff.
