Let me think, that symbol on the left hand looks like showing all nodes one so this is probably the nodes that are shown when animating, thanks but it wasn’t necessary
1) there is a gap in the Node section, a new shape is arriving (took you damn long enough).
2) the weird symbol could mean the node is bendy, allowing it to move more like a tentacle or a trapped ruler, the node can also be deselected and reverted to a regular node as indicated by the shape of the selection thing.
Bassicly, the node number finder: a button that reveals a little typing thing, you type a number 1- how ever much you have, and then it points arrows at it to help you find it

Okay, here’s my theories:
