I’m busy trying to fix some SN bugs so I can get this update out so I need to be brief.

Epitaph has and always will be very opinionated and passionate, at least about things that occur here (aka animation). All things considered, he’s earned that spot as he is the #1 stickfigure contributor and has quite a few really good ones under his belt. Point is, it’s not as if he’s all talk.
He is blunt af and yes, rude sometimes. That’s not a secret.
I’ve noticed him catch himself sometimes and even recently not like what he saw (himself say in the past). His recent posts, excluding today, have been completely on the up and up, all “good”.
So he’s not doing anything ban-worthy. He’s not going around calling people n*gger f*aggots or anything. So there’s no reason for him to leave (ban).
Now, would I like if I submit a stickbro and have Epitaph (or others, there are others too) crap all over it? No, of course not. Which brings me to the other side of the coin.
I see where Ramoxfire (and others) are coming from. I really do. Criticism through just “this sucks” type of comments isn’t helpful, especially to newbies.
Rallying a bunch of pitchforks and torches with no real end goal in sight isn’t gonna help though.
Like I said, Mr. Taph seems to have been “behaving” as of recent, this only stirred things up for the worst.
So here’s what we’re gonna do.
No more Epitaph bashing. Posts will be deleted from here on, and that’s it. (Because I can’t expect him NOT to defend himself, only making things worse. Agree? Agree.)
As for his (and others) behavior?
We’ll take things on a case-by-case basis starting now, notify me (@ralph) of problems. I don’t even think there will be any cases to be honest, but if Epitaph (OR ANYONE) is “assholish” towards someone else’s creation (animation or stickfigure) with no redeeming qualities to that “assholish” remark (aka constructive criticism), then I will address it – deletion or otherwise.
I think that’s all that can and should be done, rather than constant bashing that will only result in retaliation until half the userbase feels alienated.
In other news imagine if Kim Jong Un was slim, he would be so much more foreboding

Saying this puts it in more context, as a lot of problems people were having with Epitaph were originating outside of StickNodes.com where Epitaph was just being a bully to other people. I suppose problems like that will have to be solved outside of StickNodes.
There is a problem that I think wasn’t seen as much relating to SN, I don’t know if you’ve got seen it or any of my posts on it, but Epitaph had an option in his “thicc nodes” group where he would draw characters belonging to users provided they included a “d**k pic” with it. Considering a majority of users here are underage, we were just having a problem that he may have actually been facilitating child p*rn from the site to draw characters. It could have resulted in legal problems even, so me and some other people were getting pretty concerned about it.
This is a serious issue.

I’m pretty sure it’s gone from the SN Website version and is exclusive to the discord one. The image also remains private to the creator and person who asked.
The limit is 18+ and only 18+. I have also pressed on a big fat warning to ward off anyone who’s simply curious. I have made it as safe and secure as physically possible. Besides, it hasn’t been used in god knows how long.
Still, shame to see you’re stooping low enough to try and slap in some legal issues. Your intent on destroying my rep is becoming very clear and it is sickening. To think people actually look up to you, is disturbing.
Do you truly believe that putting an age restriction means that everyone in the group is over the age limit? That rule can’t be completely enforced. You certainly know that there are people underage who go on there, even despite the 18+. Every precaution has to be taken, especially with something concerning pornography and minors. And I find it rather “sickening” that you’ve done nothing to deny the actual “d**k pics” of the matter. It doesn’t even matter that the image “remains private,” it still is possession of child pornography. And just because it hasn’t been used in a while doesn’t mean it hasn’t been used at all. Would a murder one year ago be less significant simply because it happened one year ago?
I’m simply being cautious of what’s going on. I want the community to be friendly and safe, so if there’s a potential pedophile on, obviously I would investigate and make aware of it. I’m not stooping low, I’m trying to make sure the community and all the people in it are safe. The fact that you consider that disturbing is disturbing in its own right.
I know what you are talking about and Epitaph does not do drawn on photos for anyone whose 18, in fact he has rules about that sort of thing but no one whose 18+ will get one of those photos. True, Epitaph isn’t as tough as he should be with Thicc Nodes’ age limit but there’s really no way to tell if someone is 18+ or not but he should kick or ban those who aren’t 18+ for sure, aka Opearion.
Toxic, I get that you are concerned about this whole pedo thing but Epitaph has done his best to keep the drawn on photos 18+, he’s not a pedo, I get that having an image of a dick that’s under 18 is child pornography but he’s not forcing the person to take the photo, and he deletes the photos if it is underage. Epitaph has denied these sort of pics, he told Opearion that he couldn’t do it when Opearion tried to.
Well, that is certainly relieving to hear. Thanks for the information. I didn’t know the extent to which precautions were taken. My apologies, I didn’t know.

Glad you made a post about this stuff that has been happening lately. I basically agree with all of this, tho i hope this made epitaph think about some of the actions hes done to some peeps. Still kinda respect him but he still has a lot of things to work on.
