No no 1 midknight is the strongest and 2 a story encounters like Gavin having a portal accident and landing in Jake’s world kind of thing

But Jake has no reason to fight, his whole dynamic revolves around helping those in need, no matter how hard the task, hence why he even stand up to Lord Tarboron
So Gavin being the rejected knight (because of the curse) would help I’m talking story with two characters adventuring together kind of thing

Heβs neutral but very selfish. He basically just wants to be left alone and his traps have done that for him. But when somebody gets past those traps, theyβre in for one hell of a gauntlet
imagine some poor dude somehow miraculously gets past the traps
then just gets totally rekt and nearly dies
life is now living hell and he is traumatized
That would work but the thing is its soul bound so removing it would either take magic so dark tarboron would not go a mile near it or splitting his soul in half with would kill him
