Charcadonia has biodomes, but that’s cause it’s unimaginably cold
Yeah but do you know any cool fire beasts I can fill my planet with?

This is Celestial Dawn, not Tales of Brinthania
No but fire is part of their natural defence apart from armor. The use it to distract enemies. Make themselves look bigger and scarier. Plus with a sci fi series you gotta bend the rules a bit otherwise it becomes modern day instead of sci-fi

But in a hot environment, everything will adapt to heat
Still
Fire as a defense mechanism is proven. All that’s needed is to explore how it could be done better.
I’ll get my example. Fire stone behemoth: large heavily armored. Slow moving mineral eating creatures with fearce loyalty to pack and aggressively defend territory. Almost impossible to befriend. If they fear or are wary of strong opponent the mix chemicals in their back naturally that burst into flames making themselves seem more terrifying

Obviously but like i said, fire and heat is going to be s**t in an area dominated by creatures surrounded by heat.
The more likely option is going it simple and just slashing and biting eachother.
So. Frozen tundra?

Also, that’s Science Fantasy. Science Fiction is based entirely on science, never deviating

We get lizards in deserts
