1) the fig you have here is decent if you change the hood for something like a helmet which this already looks a bit like, something like a Medieval Soldiers helmet.
2) scarves are a sign or unoriginality, genericness and bad design. if you want to be recognised as good, you need to step up your game and think creatively.
3) the reply button exists
I think scarves are fine if your using something like flash or toon boom. Making a stick figure anim and redrawing he characters clothes, pants or shoes, is very tedious. Scarves, or even a head band are much easier to give the character at least some sort of wear

but then you’ve got a naked guy with a scarf, it just looks strange. you don’t need a hyper advanced fig, you just need one where you can see their personality simply by their appearance otherwise every single character is ‘ninja who punches things’
