Oh, @ralph. Since were at the topic, if it were my device that causes the problems, what are your recommendations? Does Stick Nodes need a certain amount of storage or RAM to prevent crashing somehow?

Nope, just an “Ok” button.
Maybe because this device is KitKat -

Unfortunately, it displayed the default android “Stick Nodes has stopped”.
But I appreciate your help towards the issue, this is one of the reasons you are one the best developers I’ve seen in years.

UPDATE: Arcionek uses a Kitkat device as well, he has access to the blur tool, why can’t I? . _ . -

Oh, then that would be the issue then. It’s 4.4.2 Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I guess I’ll have to get a new one for Christmas :T

Stick Nodes keeps crashing.
Yeah lol everytime I press the blur button it crashes
Why?-
someone else reported this too
what device and Android version do you have?
the other user had a pretty old device, so it’s likely to be an issue for old devices that I may not be able to remedy

it might not have to do with the Android version, so much as it does with the device itself, namely its GPU maybe
I’m going to go through crash reports etc soon and see if I get info on this
in the meantime, when the crash happens, does an Android system window pop up “Stick Nodes has crashed blah blah…”? If so, use the “Submit error report” (or similar) button and if also possible, put your username as a comment so I know it’s from you

hey, relax with the compliments, I didn’t help you yet and I’m likely to just go into hiding any minute 🙂
on that “Sticknodes has stopped” window, there’s not a “send report” button or something like this:

It’s best to close background apps if you want higher ram. Maybe that’s why?
-
Replying to:
likely nothing to do with RAM
more likely to do with your GPU in the device or something specific to only certain devices
I have to look at the reports when I work on 2.1.1 (just fixes and tweaks so will be “fast”)
I’ll have more info then and let you know

Y’all know who Nexus is.
If not well:Nexus is human powered by Hell Energy (Demon powers) and his Quirk/Ability (lol) is to manipulate shadows. He can create swords, platforms and nearly anything.
He’s obviously at a disadvantage against someone who can use or create light.
