See, while certainly funny, it makes no logical narrative sense for Hawke to side with the war criminals. Because depending on which class you choose, Hawke either has a sister who is one of the magicians or just is one of them himself. And I’m going to iust go out and say that Bioware probably believes the canon Hawke is a male mage. Since he’s a mage in the game’s box-art and trailer (if you wait to long on the main menu)
