    AWESOME SWORD TEST 2.0!!!!!!!!

    I’ve been being a lazy shit for the past week, so i decided i should JUST FUCKING ANIMATE. So after an hour, i made something cool with swords.

    Should there be a physics/ragdoll update to SN?

          Hey bro, I wanna make another sword anim but theres something im confused about…

          How do i make the sword stabs more fluid? The camera shake makes it feel a bit blunt, but idk how to make it feel impactful without making the sword feel blunt and too heavy

            Well you’d have to consider what the sword is doing and its properties, the materials and what it is accomplishing. If it’s flesh and the sword is not that sharp it will struggle a little to pierce or at least not likely go all the way through, if it does, emphasis or blood spraying and a struggle to pull the sword back out would help you.

            Any sort of animating required you to sort of feel it, to understand what it is that it is doing based on how it really functions rather than how you want it to function.

      Also I don’t think there should be a physics system, don’t know how that would necessarily work and it seems it would be extremely hard to code in and cause a lot of lag. It’s animation, not an engine, after all

        I thought so too, but you can do things like

        Water physics, blood physics, death anims, explosions, and especially animating loads of physics everywhere per frame

        But I doubt its possible with a mobile app. So yeah, youre right. Too laggy

          Could try animating them yourself as Movieclips, or finding other Movieclips that fit your needs
