I got a new sn update 4.13, and it said that storage was denied. When I checked the permissions, it said there were no permissions. I reinstalled the app, and it asked me for permissions finally.
However, I checked my projects ans stickfigures and they were ALL GONE. The nearest backup I have of my data was from September. I lost so much. What do I do? How do I get it back? Should I just quit?

im sorry but when you uninstall any app, it deletes its accompanying data
its a stupid “feature” of modern mobile systems
when you uninstall, Android should ask for if you want to keep data
but it depends on your version/device
what Android version are you running?

This probably happened because I didn’t click the “keep data” button. I didn’t know what it does. I feel like such a dumbass
Trying to keep a secret with the developer of Stick Nodes that you have an APK probably isn’t the best idea..

the storage issue may be a thing because you’re jumping from a relatively old version to a relatively new version from non-official download sites, so i can’t say if it was actually an SN issue
as for the deleted data, yeah, its because you uninstalled, that’s just normal behavior unfortunately

@ralph, I remembered I once sent you a project, so you can replicate a bug. I never deleted that project, and it has atleast my main stickfigure base in it. Honestly, thats all I need. I also found a backup of my data but it was from August, which is not that bad, but still old as hell. ?
