  a punch irl isn’t really done like that
  
  like if you stand up, and you’re trying to throw an actual punch
  
  either you step into it, or you stay grounded and just pivot your hips
  
  your back foot doesn’t go all flappy
  
  when animating you just gotta imagine, or sometimes even act out, movements
