The thing is, with the new relocated files, I can’t move all my old files to the new one. I’ve moved them around in the old Sticknodes file folders(I’m Android), and nothing.

I got no clue what that means, so that’s a no.

Welp, finally deciding to get back into stick-making, and am immediately punished for it.
I have been been looking for an hour on my phone trying to find a folder to copy all my old files into the app (I have over 3k files so I can’t email them to myself), since Sticknodes Pro has gotten rid of every file I had on the app.
Any idea what the folder is called, so I can fix it and go and use the app? Because I’m not downloading all the sticks again.

What I’m saying is someone put the figure pack under my name- when I did not make the one on the site- simply because I submitted a pack with 2 more figures in it called ‘Realistic Allosaurus Fragilis Pack’. I always call my figs realistic. That’s my brand.
So for someone to lose their creation and publicity from it, because of someone else thinking I made it, it makes me mad honestly. I hate it when people don’t get the credit they deserve after spending hours making this shit! -
So uh….. I’m 100000000% sure I did NOT make this Allo. I made another one I hoped would have come in by now.
The one I made is the one with the custom thumbnail in the way I have been doing them a while now.So obviously something is up. I reported the figure as not mine, but I’m putting this here just to be safe.

So you’re saying someone else used your email and submitted a random dinosaur under your name?-

Also both sticks were apparently submitted on same day. Prob that’s why he mixed up.
It is actually using your description of your own submission if you haven’t noticed.
Though now I’m thinking… Now that I have done and fixed it, it is possible that actually messed up on is just putting the wrong thumbnail.
If so…
Uh oh
Edit: nvm it’s fine

@ralph
Google play policies changed so the files need to be re-located, have you went through that yet?
I got no clue what that means, so that’s a no.
So your old files should still be in your files app
You need to move them all to the new Sticknodes file folder
The thing is, with the new relocated files, I can’t move all my old files to the new one. I’ve moved them around in the old Sticknodes file folders(I’m Android), and nothing.
@ralph put a fucking tutorial or something
they go from
/Stick Nodes/{folders}
to the new spot
/Android/data/org.fortheloss.sticknodespro/files/{folders}
Only some apps have the required permissions to access that folder, I recommend one on Google Play called just “Explorer”
also welcome back mr dino
alternatively, when you start SN 3.3.X go to “App Settings” window, scroll down about half way, check the box to make it prompt you to transfer the files
restart the app and follow the prompt
Before I noticed the issue, I’ve already made 6 figures, project, and a png that aren’t in the files. I uninstalled the app, not realizing that they weren’t in the folders.
I’m gonna assume there is not a single trace of them in terms of the files because of the weird stuff…. Or is there a place they are just so I don’t spend 2 days remaking everything
anything you save from now on is here:
/Android/data/org.fortheloss.sticknodespro/files/{folders}
the old files are still in the old location, until you perform the transfer, or copy-paste them manually
regarding this new location, it’s due to Google wanting apps to conform to this more strictly where apps only utilize their allocated private folders for their data … and as a result uninstalling the app deletes the data with it (you should be prompted when uninstalling and can prevent this however)
The 1st time I uninstalled, I did choose to keep the data, but whatever the data was didn’t show the data.
all of your old files are still in /Stick Nodes/ right?
if so, just get them to the new folder
and be careful when uninstalling from now on
I hadn’t used the app since December, but only uninstalled 4hrs ago when I realized the issue, just after I made some figs after a 6month hiatus.
The old files are transferring right now, the ones from the old app folders, but I’m gonna assume that the new figures I’ve made are forever lost, which sucks because I finished this image:

(I recolored the eyes, fixed the movable lips, and made all the legs)
probably gone unfortunately
sad :/
Welp that f***in sucks…
well you said you uninstalled and chose to keep the data so, they technically should still be there and not deleted
I recommend using ZArchiver for this, first open the app(ZArchiver), find and open a folder named “Android” with the android robot logo on it, open the data folder, then find and open the sticknodes folder that has the sn logo on it, open files, then stickfigure, sort by date but it’ll sort the files by the oldest so just scroll down and find those 6 newest files
I hope this helped
iOS or Android?
Android
I cannot help then. Sorry
Make a darn indoraptor or quetzolocotl
