Ads you see online aren’t just based on what you’ve searched for. They also consider the website you’re on and other info like your interests and demographics.
Dodgy sites get given dodgy ads by google. The ads that arent really reviewed properly.

Secondly each car burns through their fuel differently, some cars are very gentle with their fuel consumption, while other each eat fuel like it’s free.
