You could simply make a hidden chest.
I myself put everything that is of importance in an enderchest.Only griefing I\’ve encountered was my crafting tables being vaporised, but that\’s solely my personal experience.

I boxed the wither inside a obsidian 5×5 structure and made a hole on top.
Afterwards I towered really high and started shooting fireballs at it (purchased from the store).
Easy fight.
The warden on the other hand scared the living shit out of me and put me in my place.
PS: Fought the wither couple of thousand blocks away. As far away from potential disaster.

Having an efficiency 5 shovel allows for me to instantly break grass/sand/gravel. I acquired the tools as fast as possible to start focussing on making money. After having money I gained access to anything.
Using the Market Lemon made is actually the best thing for progression. Find the right items to sell and to buy. It’ll make you bank.
Even in Minecraft it’s all about Money.
