SNM Kingston WIP
I’ve had this project on hold for a while and haven’t had a chance to finish it yet. Lately, I’ve been too busy to keep working on it. The images below were a quick draft I put together for Kingston to get his initial feedback before finalizing the product.
The images are a bit outdated. The bow is now bendable and has a spear function. It’s quite cool how it transforms. The arrow also now exist with different variations.I genuinely wish I had more time to continue working on the SNM project, but unfortunately, it’s still going to be on hold for a while

Hey Lemon,
Moderation is difficult , and I know it can get exhausting. There’s always room to improve for this community to embrace our decisions, but it’s a tricky balance. if you don’t act, there’s criticism; if you do act, there’s criticism;.
I think it might be a good time for you to take a break. You’ve done a lot for this place and definitely deserve some recognition for it. Focus on your projects and enjoy the site as a regular user instead of a moderator. Or take a full on break.

Ah sorry, in my last comment I referred to you as Jade. Didn’t know you changed it. My apologies.

Hey Jade,
I’m not sure what you mean, so I can’t really help with that.
Even if he shared his ID, I’d avoid commenting on his age since it’s personal info. But honestly, it’s unlikely he’s actually 32 if he’s here stirring up drama.
Hope the drama is not too overwhelming! I’m a bit busy at the moment, but if you tag me in anything needing moderation, I’ll check it out as soon as I can. (Or one of the other mods, of course.) Since another moderator has already flagged the post you’re referring to, I’m going to assume they’re more informed about what’s going on. I’ll let them handle the drama for now. As I mentioned, I’m busy, but I’ll catch up on the situation when I can.
Sorry I type a lot

Been a while since I animated but probably pacing and timing.
-

i put something else because generally i tend to struggle with a couple things
…this entire list is a biggest challenge
but by far it would have to be keeping movements smooth and natural, and also implementing physics along with that
but i also cant do lighting or backgrounds so queoatpuqtupaqtp -
Everyone needs more MOTIVATION.

All of the above

I’d have to say a mix of physics, timing, and fluid natural motion. With cars and stuff like that im always thinking about what little motions can manipulate the car, like IRL if you where sitting in your car and you.. idk slammed your head into the wheel or sum, it would move the car a lil, depending on the cars size, weight, what gear the car is in ect ect. And I have to also watch out for inconsistencies in the suspension motion, like if I am animating with a 2015 camry sport, I will animate the suspension a little stiffer then that of say a 67 chevy impala, because suspension of old cars (60s chevy sedans, caddys, pontiac sedans ect) all had cloudy, soft pillow like suspension because that was what was luxury back then. Soft and comfortable, nowadays however, automobile suspension even in modern luxury cars (BMWs, mercs, caddys ect ect) suspension is stiff for “performance” and “handling” so I have to account for that in the anims I make.
Also load is a key factor, take a 90s regular cab 1500 pickup, any pickup rally, ford, dodge, chevy, they all have a slight racke to the front (which looks mean lol), this is so that when you load the bed, the truck is still even. In my anims, I try to pay attention to this. If a trucks bed is unloaded, it’ll be more stiff and bouncy then that of a truck with shit in the back. Just basic physics.
For characters it’s different, I learn the way a character acts from a show or movie or something and try to replicate that in my anim.
Take dean winchester, he has a distinctive thing he does with his Eyebrows, where when he’s angry, they look like a zigzag, but when he’s not angry, they are still kinda zigzagy but way less. Same with his mouth, eyes and body movement (I do this for every character I animate)
Idk though, it all feels weird in a way

TL:DR?: Just read lemon\’s post.
The incident we had was three months ago, and I’ve barely been active since then. Yet, you still seem to think there’s a target on your back because of that one event. I hope you read this message not with a hostile tone or anything like that, but as a genuine effort to improve things here. If you\’re carrying around the idea that I have a personal vendetta against you after all this time, it might be worth asking yourself if that\’s really the case or if it\’s something you\’re projecting. Holding onto this belief could be causing you to act differently, even when there’s no real reason to. Sometimes, we latch onto an idea so tightly that it starts to shape our actions, even if it’s not based in reality anymore. It might be time to step back and reconsider what’s really going on. The issue might not be as personal as you think, and you could be letting an old conflict affect how you see things now.
Personally, I can handle people thinking that everything they disagree with is somehow moderated by me if that makes them feel better. But at the end of the day, that mindset just makes this place more toxic. Blaming someone for things they aren\’t even involved in doesn’t solve anything. It just drags out conflict and makes it harder for everyone to move on. If we\’re constantly looking for a scapegoat, then we’re only feeding into negativity and division. It\’s time to consider if that’s really what you want, or if there\’s a better way to approach things.
And this isn’t just for you. this is an opportunity to address the general issues within the community. We all love to do things like \”OMG Noderx?!!\” whenever something goes wrong/is dodgy, but this habit of pointing fingers or fixating on one person when things don’t go our way is harmful.
This improvement starts with all of us.
Edit: Apologies, Sir Lemon! I accidentally replied to your comment. Please forgive me!

What happened to your mindset? You could’ve made some good money off that \”recovery service\” and charged him for getting his lost image back.
This is why we won’t become rich.
Utter disappointment.

I mean. That’s quite normal. ( I think)
I’m not familiar with the exact terminology, but they’re called polygons or something similar. More polygons mean better visuals but lower performance, while fewer polygons result in worse visuals but better performance.

Like this.Basically, it prevents phones from going boom.
