There’s not a maximum length of how long an audio can be. It depends on the file size which has a max file size of 256kb.
The quality (bitrate) of the audio effects how much storage the audio file takes up.

Pretty sure the memory of the last project when you load a new one carries over visually despite actually being less.
I think if you were to close the app and save first of course then come back, it would correct itself.
