Welcome to the end of an era. That’s pretty much it, I see. I don’t particularly feel happy about his ban, not to say that I’m disappointed. But I’m glad that we won’t be seeing anymore negativity stemming from him.
just to be somewhat transparent, he was given many chances
he was the victim a lot, maybe yes because of his overall tone and attitude – unintentional or not
but 5 strikes or whatever, that’s it
(he then circumvented a temporary ban today which was the final straw, so as a warning to all, don’t do that shit)

i actually agree with the “victim” part myself, some of the recent stuff were definitely instigated by people other than him which caused him to just react stupidly
however, it is still his fault for constantly repeating his mistakes and failing to improve upon himself and his attitude, it’s not just the fault of the website users for attacking him
been told already like 50 times for the past year to not escalate stuff, and yet, he still chooses to do this even after the posts get flagged, even sometimes deleting his own flagged posts just to save himself (which will be a feature that will be removed soon for users when the mod buff comes out)
he’s already had way too many strikes of escalating arguments, despite being already told to not react or to not escalate stuff anymore, and continuing to do so even after already being banned, is probably a sign that this place is better off without him
