2026-01-05 02:05:00 UTC Been looking through some old photos and stuff, reminiscing about how things were here on the site a few years back. Honestly such a great time to be a SN user. So many great people with similar stances, interests and hobbies. You could log in for the day and see at least one post made by someone- a friend, that you genuinely appreciate. It was like being apart of some kind of online neighbourhood where all your neighbours are your friends.
The site isn’t bad now, not necessarily, but I do miss the people I used to speak with then and generally that time in my life.

I remember I did use the site back in 2019-2022(?), but only to download figures, I did post a few under a guest account in 2021 under my real name lol

What happened?
Sort of like the Ficto situation, back then, making many alt accounts as a slightly annoying user was not completely common so people had it in for Invader.
Yeah it was a nice time. More familiar as tending to the labors of life take over we became unfamiliar with what the community is now.
Lots of users came come and gone. I think what made it really good is that everyone had a passion for their own projects and it would shine through with each post and directly SN based content was the focus point.
I feel the reason why people say the site is different is for exactly that last point, other than new generation.
But thats besides the point
It was a really fun time.
Now a days is still great too!
I’m so thankful for the newer users like Sen, StickGuy, Outlaw, Rampage, Lawyer, FireDragon, Osprey and a few others I’m def forgetting to mention.
Its always been a great community imo and it makes me happy to see other users showing that love too.
Apologies ab my ramblings being mostly non structured lol.
