Been a while since I worked on the mask stickfigures I said I’d do.

Managed to get back to it after essentially taking a break from it. I never planned on taking a break, it was moreso just that I’ve been busy and haven’t made it a priority but I had some free time to do whatever I wanted so I figured I’d finish this off..

Finished up the re-colours of the base mask, just gotta re-colour the triangular masks and make a start on the square one.

I’m planning on getting back into making some submissions again and I’ve already begun planning some stuff for it. I’ll be making masks under what I’m calling a ‘ Submission Series ‘ which will just be a collection of submissions under one name as if it were an actual commercial product line-up.

The point being, I have plans for my first basic submission pack, that being a collection of masks all in different colours, red through to pink with a base version as well. All of which having specific functionality and colour shading work. What I mentioned you for was to get your thoughts on it if I were to submit something like that? Would it meet the quality standard or would it be too simple to submit?

I was thinking of making variants for it in different shapes as well, so I could put all of that and colour variants of each shape into one pack if that works?

For reference, the image below is the base mask, nothing too crazy but I don’t think there’s many masks out there at the moment, figured I could get the ball rolling with some bases etc.

I may be coming back to an old idea I had for OC mask stickfigures.

Listen, I’m no movie fanatic or critic, so what I’m about to say if just an opinion from just a dude right? Right.

I heard that the Iron Lung film by Markiplier was being shown in cinemas in the UK, so with little delay, I booked it in and went to see it earlier today.

I’ll be honest, I was expecting the film to be a novel concept and generally perform at most; pretty good. What ended up happening was that Markiplier directed, wrote and starred as the main ( and essentially the only on-screen ) actor for a film with one main set, based on a video game.

These stakes are already kind of crazy and would be difficult to work with for most people, but Mark just completely smashes it out of the park creating this unsettling, mysterious, cosmic horror adventure where he travels around in a submersible in a sea of blood looking for answers as to why the world ended.

The acting was superb, the story was captivating and the way it all played out despite the amount of context, set, budget etc is truly just a statement towards how with the right arrangement of details, a film can still be great even if it isn’t hundreds of millions of dollars for it’s budget.

Random Update?

Not very often that I do these, it always seems kind of vain but I got something in particular I want to run by whoever might choose to read this..

First off, don’t pull an all-nighter, especially if you have nothing to do that day. I genuinely thought I could pull an all-nighter like I have before and be fine, that only holds true when you still stay busy and active, as soon as you begin clock-watching, you count down the function your body still has.

I ‘ woke up ‘ and felt like crap, I ate breakfast, then proceeded to try figure out what to do, only to realise I’m basically in a awkward phase where I don’t have anything to do at the moment productively, as for leisurely I just wasn’t bothered.

In any case I’m feeling better now.

Submissions?

This is what I really what I wanted to talk about today, should I get back into making submissions? I have some stuff I’m wanting to make that could score me quite a few uploads and potential completion of my current badges as well as some mild promotional material for my projects. I want to make a few things like physical stickfigures of stuff from my projects, as mentioned, but also the yearly submission thing I had going, I stopped around 2024 I think.

As for ‘ Bald Bastard ‘ the 2026 lemon re-make, I’ve been busy with other projects so it has been on the back-back-burner for a while now, although I do have plans to complete it, ready for a project I have in mind that I want to launch this year.

Anyway, I’ve said enough, I don’t want to write too much.

Been looking through some old photos and stuff, reminiscing about how things were here on the site a few years back. Honestly such a great time to be a SN user. So many great people with similar stances, interests and hobbies. You could log in for the day and see at least one post made by someone- a friend, that you genuinely appreciate. It was like being apart of some kind of online neighbourhood where all your neighbours are your friends.

The site isn’t bad now, not necessarily, but I do miss the people I used to speak with then and generally that time in my life.

🩼 Personal Update 🩼

I don’t usually make updates about myself or my life, since it’s personal, but for today I’ll make an exception.

Yesterday after the gym, I went for a walk with my brother and a friend of ours and because it was pitch black dark outside and we were in a forest, as we were walking downhill, I rolled my ankle hard on like a foot and a half of a gap straight down onto concrete.

Now, ordinarily for someone my weight I think that’d be prime ankle break material, yet by some miracle I managed to leave with only a couple of rough scars, mainly on my knee, and a really sore ankle.

It’s now been a day since I injured it and my ankle is very sore, but there is no swelling so I think I just barely managed to avoid breaking my ankle. It’s Christmas season, or at least it was and so I am very heavy and quite fat, with my bodyweight at around 120kg or 265lbs. According to my brother and our friend, they said it was like I disappeared because one second I was walking and the next I was on the ground, my brother said I was like Godzilla falling lol.

Safe to assume, I need to lose weight during 2026 and I need to train my ankles.
