Day 3:
Let there be rain.
Let there be showers.
Let there be pouring at the darkest hours.Release the floodgates,
Allow the flow,
And cease it all to permit it so.To hold it back
Would bare your misery.
To deny it freedom would make you history. So let it come, let it go,
Because I fucking said so.funni nnn 🗿

I see a fellow looking quite mellow
speaking without such bellow
im gonna curbstomp you into a grave
if you don’t learn how to behave
so take this as a warning
ill see you in the morning
and if you don’t change
sh*t yourself

“Let there be rain, let there be showers.” Mellucius is obviously referring to the declining social climate of the American population, speaking on how we let the toxicity of our communities rain down on us. The implied semen is simply a methodical example of our state.
“Let there be pouring at the darkest hours.”
Such a beautiful line, with multiple meanings. Our darkest hours are the nights in which many of us struggle against the everlasting lure of No Nut November. It can also mean the ‘darkest’ hours, in which one could lay awake, looking at interracial nono-videos.
“Release the floodgates,
Allow the flow,
And cease it all to permit it so.”
Obviously a comment on our determination and resilience. Release the floodgates, let what has been restrained be free. Cease it all to permit it so, let minutes go into hours as fall goes into winter.
“To hold it back
Would bare your misery.
To deny it freedom would make you history.”
An interesting thought on how paradoxical our pleasures are, often times. To be remembered, we must deny ourselves the pleasure. To feel the pleasure, we have to sacrifice our own remorse and self-worth right after.
“So let it come, let it go,
Because I fucking said so.”
Mellucius is truly an artist, using trigger words and beautiful imagery to create one of the most memorable poems in history. Bravo.
