The submissions side of the community seems to be a real festering nest of anti-lgbtq+ shit. I mean, it’s granted that all communities will indeed have their bad eggs, but if you plan on making and submitting something online related to it then be prepared to get downvoted to hell for it. Heck, it says a damn lot about this place that such a filthy backlog of hateful assholes exist here, maybe leaning a bit into the sort of enviroment we’ve been in these past few years. And the funny part? It’s mainly guests, benefitting from their anonymity. There are those who make their hateful attitudes clear and transparent, but they aren’t my focus. It needs to be made crystal clear that this is completely abhorrent. Guests DEFINITELY shouldn’t be granted that much power with speech and should have an account before literally doing anything. This place and its enviroment needs a deep fucking scrub because we don’t need freedom of speech to be mistaken as freedom to put down others without consequence, based on things they can’t control.
