In many places, tap water isn’t exactly safe to drink, be it poor water quality from the surrounding area or the water being overly treated with chemicals to the point it’s unsafe for human consumption (but still safe to use for washing), or at least gross tasting. Bleh

DAY ONE.
No encounters yet, though I have heard…things. Noises. Screeches from the forests, scratching on the trees. I have not begun to build my base yet, but I do believe I know where I want it. This world generation is absolutely insane, I love it.
