So, I’ve been working out casually since the quarantine began, and today is the day before winter break starts, so I decided to do a bunch of workouts.
Around the end, I decided to do some lunges, cause most of my workouts had been upper-body, with one or two abdominal workouts. However, after about 25, my right leg just buckled, and I messed up my hamstring. Oh well, it’s a pain in the butt to walk now, and I’ll have a limp for a day or two. I’ve been injured worse.
So, as I limped my way over to the pull-up bar I installed in my doorframe last September, I got up and grabbed on. I did a couple chin-ups, a few standard pull-ups, nothing extreme. Maybe 10 total. I lowered myself to the ground slowly, cautious of my right leg. Unfortunately, I wasn’t being very cautious of anything else, so my hands slipped, and I fell.
I put my left leg first, as to not further injure my right, but then I landed funny. Now, both my hamstrings are totally busted, and I can’t walk. It’ll probably be over by tomorrow, but it still sucks.
