Kanehameha was the name of a Hawaiian King. Akira Toriyama named the attack that because his wife gave him the suggestions. Also, Kamehameha is Japanese for “Turtle Destruction Wave”, and Akira Toriyama wanted an attack name involving the word “Kame” (Turtle), so it worked out.

vourne is a play of spelling with bourne “to bear”
