well
here are my thoughts on it
for the custom thumbnail thing, maybe Ralph could put a unique tag combination on single-framed GIF’s exported from the app (“from app, single-framed”), and when you’re on the submit stickfigure screen, you can choose from those GIF’s in your camera roll
the animated GIF’s thing seems much harder to do though; maybe Ralph could let you put in a command in the description of the stickfigure you want to submit, letting you choose a GIF in your camera roll, (and rename it again) with a unique tag combination (“from app, multi-frame”), this command may be something like “[gif=”preview.gif”]”, with “preview.gif” being the name of your GIF

yes I thought about adding a “take screenshot” (for thumbnail) as part of the submission process
but honestly that would probably make my life more difficult because 90% of users wouldn’t be able to follow directions and I’d end up having to converse with them about fixes and/or fix things myself
like when submitting them?

so nah
if that’s the case
then that sucks for those 90%
