oh i use them to cut corners and save time every now and again dont worry sis (assuming here correct me if wrong <3)
I did it on the hat of my Giselle figure (shameless plug its in my group) and my Desperado logo from MGR (shameless plug its in my group) sometimes it just saves a hassle. but i had to move away from them as i got more detailed cuz it ate nodes (now i just eat nodes by putting too many almost unseeable small details)
