Very interesting as an animation! We don’t have much out there in terms of cinematic work, so this is a very interesting take on it. Very foreboding shots and cuts, and I like the structure and mystery behind it.
Unfortunately, the text really takes a lot out of the animation. I don’t want to be nitpicky, but when your animation also has dialogue/text being a primary central focus, you may as well spell correctly or make the text look interesting. That definitely takes points off for me.
Text aside, this is pretty well done. A solid animation for cinematic effects.
3/5.

KaijynnJust your friendly local cryptid. I'll eat your bones.
This is an interesting animation Visually, it makes good use of cinematic effects and camera angles, but relies far too much on still shots. Along with this, the few parts of the trailer that are actually animated aren’t anything spectacular, so they don’t add much to the animation. The parts with text also kind of break the mood, and could be more visually appealing.
This “trailer” is extremely cryptic about the plot of the series, which shouldn’t be the case for a trailer. Other than a bunch of character shots with no context, along with cryptic text, the trailer doesn’t set up a plot or world of any sort.
Needless to say, the humor in this is nonexistent, but since it’s a trailer for what I’m assuming is a dark series (based on the trailer’s atmosphere), that’s okay.
Overall this was pretty decent. But there’s quite a few problems. Problems like the beginning text being thrown together with tne wrong words being used, this it pretty minor overall, but when that is the what’s giving you a hint at the story in this animation, you are gonna want to make sure you polish that. But looking at the story overall, there really isn’t much, it’s just building up to a story. Normally trailers give you the slightest bit of information on the story to get you started. Visually though, those shots are impressive and the cinematic work is amazing, but pulled back by the ultimate ubisoft level downgrade when it comes to the more animated scenes. That and character designs pull the visuals down along with the lack of any animation. Humor also is pretty non existent which is completely fine. I’ll have to go with a 3/5 for this.
i remember the first time i saw this trailer i got goosebumps, and i still do. i think this was the first time i saw these kinds of shading effects in sticknodes…it was so awesome.
anyway, 5/5 visuals are awesome, cinematic trailer-stuff on point
