Ah, Extinction, how i love this mode.
CoD isn't really a favourite of mine but i can still hold Ghosts' Extinction modes high up as the superior to Zombies. with a unique objective, huge veriety of Cryptids (the aliens) and a surprisingly unique plot, Extinction has plenty to offer. this Pack contains the Logo for Extinction as well as FIVE of the Crytid Archetypes; the Scouts, Scorpians and Rhinos (The Scout fig can be recoloured to Red for Hunters and blueish purple for Phantoms).
The Scouts are the grunts of the Cryptid hoard. fast, weak, simple.
Hunters are their predacessors. larger, stronger, harder to kill.
Phantoms are just like Hunters but can teleport at will through Psionic means.
Scorpians are tougher and incredibly annoying for everyone who isn't playing Medic as it can lob acid globs that let of poisonous fumes that Medics can become invincible to at level 4.
Rhinos are the big daddies. extremely resiliant, high damage output, much larder but they aren't building sized.

PL Team Slave OwnerLoved this mode. For some reason people hated it because “aliens don’t belong in cod”. Well so does zombies and cyborgs but they run with them to keep unique ideas flowing.
well technically they aren’t aliens. they came from the earth.

PL Team Slave OwnerI never read lore of COD games as all the lore is usually in the campaigns. But for side modes almost never see the lore.
Boi Zombies is filled to the brim with lore and I wouldn’t be surprised if Extinction was no different… but yes, the Cryptids came from earth. They were unearthed as a result of the Odin strike… hence why one of the ways you can unlock Extinction is beating the first mission in ghosts.

PL Team Slave OwnerAlright, that make much more sense. Zombies lore is all found in the game though. That’s why I know more of it compared to zombies.

When satalite ODIN crashed during the main game , the impact unearthed the cyptid nests , soon they left and sent warhawk into chaos , that’s when the plot starts with the drilling
Every one hated this game mode bc it was not made by treyarc they make the best cod’s (even tho they only make the black ops series) but still the mode is truly trash
What’s so bad about ghost’s multiplayer?
Less rounds to kill people , it only took 3 rounds from a Remington on a SC2010 to put you down before you could scream “F*CK THIS GAME”
Ghosts is still better than IW though , we don’t need no starwars knockoff
Well IW had a good zombies game mode and on the menu for the zombies ohhh that music PERFECT
