Celestial Dawn Bent Barrel Sniper Rifle

The AOW are kind of like North Korea in many ways, one of those ways is using outdated innefitient weaponry and the nearly 400 year old Bent Barrel Sniper Rifle (BBSR as i'll be calling it) is no exception.

Designed by a Kracknesian by the name of Jkak Llar (shak-lar), the BBSR was designed with one thing in mind only, maximising lethality. The Kracknesians are notorious for caring little for comfort and only for how much destruction they can cause, their home planet is a good example (that's gonna offend some Kracknesians out there). the BBSR has a built in scope and foregrip to make sure aim is perfect, a very long barrel with one helluva' kick that would contain what is called a 'Splinter Round' which fires off like any conventional bullet but will unleash a torrent of shrapnel, glass and other sharp things into the opponent upon contact; and of course it's signicture curved stock.

The stock is very innefective as you'll probably tell however it was designed this way on purpose for it was supposed to have a portable shield slapped on top of it and debris stabalising the back, the stock was bent in this way to allow all that to fit snugly.

Overall, weird ass gun and has been humiliated on countless occasions but still somehow a symbol of power to the AOW

Celestial Dawn Hardlight Rifle

Another of the many weapons in the Union's vast arsenal. the Union's Hardlight Rifle is designed for all-round use, used by guards, invaders, defenders, patrols, you name it. it's readjustable stock allows it to be easily customised to fit all shoulders while it's integrated foregrip allows better accuracy.

Unlike most weapons in the universe, the Hardlight Rifle has both an Iron sight and an ACOG, allowing for good sight both close and mid range. it also allows them to see further if a Union Trooper's visor is damaged and no longer has a functional zoom feature.

The Hardlight Rifle has virtually no recoil, fires 240 rounds per minute (4 rounds per second) and is widely used for how little customisation is needed to use it. it is even rarely seen in the hands of Solarian Space Pirate mercinaries or AOW raiders wether given to them by the Union as a gift for completing a contract or stolen in an organised raid.

Now while we all know the Proton Rifle is a trustworthy weapon of war for all forms of combat, that doesn't make it completely unstoppable. at some point or another, it's gonna jam, break, overcharge, overheat, run out, you nameit. so some clever guy at the LAVR armoury decided "hey, how about we make a pistol of this" and they unintentially created a weapon more advanced then the rifle but in a smaller package.

The Proton Pistol (or Lavenver PP2 LAVR if you wanna sound super smart) is semi-automatic, has barely any recoil, is more streamlined and best of all, it's super small and fits snug in the hand. while many LAVR militants are sceptical about using Proton Rifles, the Proton Pistol far outclasses the somewhat more modern Ion equivalent and completely dominates the easily overheating and super cheaply made AOW Neutron Pistol.

There's only one downside however, the components make it more expensive than all others except the Union's hyper-OP Hardlight Pistol but fortunately for the LAVR, they have 7 planets to squeeze dry of those sweet sweet UCs (Universal Credits)
