Why would you need a trigger? Your character’s hand would be covering that part of the stick anyways…and it doesn’t need a trigger to fire, just think about shooting it and squeeze the grip really hard

Have you ever shot a gun before? Most people tense and squeeze the grip in anticipation of the recoil before shooting, and they squeeze the gun really hard, so it’s not really changing anything

It shoots pure energy, and can destroy absolutely anything, but takes literally forever to charge up between shots
