the Ancient Egyptian standard issue weapon of choice and my favorite shortsword.
The Khopesh is a Sickle Sword, meaning it's blade is bent like a sickle. do not think this means a sickle itself would be a good weapon cause believe me, there's better choices.
If used in the correct maneuver, the curve of the Khopesh's blade could be utilized for hooking round shields to jab and opponent from their side, however the tip is not very good at stabbing, this is a weapon specialized for slashing and chopping. it's also made of Bronze.

Well, no matter the thought process, I use this in the kitchen.
It adds to the momentum of the blade, making it hit harder despite it’s small size. It also allows it to hook round shields and to also be more useful as a tool when not in combat.
